Our founder grew up in southern Thailand in a family of drivers. A brother and a cousin drive vans in Phuket. A close friend drives a licensed taxi. Between them: decades of experience, spotless vehicles, thousands of happy passengers — and almost no way for an international visitor to find them before landing.

Meanwhile, travellers arriving at Phuket Airport faced the opposite problem: too many options and no way to know who to trust. Unclear prices. Language barriers. Nobody to call when something went wrong.

IslandTransfer connects those two sides. We are deliberately not a big platform: every driver is personally vetted, holds a Thai public transport licence and drives a registered public-service vehicle. We publish fixed prices. We take a fair 10% — far less than the 20–30% big platforms and agents charge — so drivers earn properly and treat every guest like their reputation depends on it. Because it does.

When you book with us, a real person confirms your trip, sends you your driver’s name and photo, tracks your flight, and answers your messages when plans change. That is the whole idea: technology where it helps, humans where it matters.
